By participating in any activity or communication on the platform, users agree to uphold this Code of Conduct and accept the procedures for addressing any violations. Discrimination, harassment, intimidation, or exclusion based on identity, background, or personal characteristics will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Expected Behaviour

We expect all participants to act with courtesy and professionalism in all interactions on the platform and in connected spaces, including webinars, forums, and emails. Please use inclusive language, respect differing viewpoints, accept constructive feedback gracefully, and focus on what benefits the community. Creating a positive, supportive atmosphere is everyone’s responsibility.

Unacceptable Behaviour

Unacceptable behavior includes harassment, intimidation, exclusion, or any conduct that causes discomfort to others. This may involve offensive comments, threats, stalking, unwelcome attention, disruptive actions, or sharing private communications without consent. Jokes or language that are sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, or otherwise discriminatory are strictly prohibited..

Reporting & Enforcement

If you experience or witness any violation of this Code of Conduct, please report it immediately. During webinars, you can message the Zoom host directly. At any time, you can contact the Code of Conduct Committee via email, and you will receive a response within 24 hours. All reports are handled confidentially. Depending on the situation, the response may include a warning, removal from the course or platform, or further action involving relevant authorities or institutions.

OpenPlato is a shared community. Upholding respectful conduct is key to maintaining a welcoming environment for everyone.
